Punk Enemies (and Critics)

Boo. Hiss.

From James (“Jim”) Lisk:

Richard / Mark,

In your book you made reference to their being a Starbucks in Morristown [page 52, paragraph 2] (I pressume you meant NJ). FYI, there is no Starbucks in Morristown.

YOU-SO-WRONG!!!

Check the link if you don’t believe me…

Additionally, here’s a paper that talks about what you fellas mentioned on pg xxiii with regards to what is dubbed “viewer impatience” (vs. the traditional notion of “viewer inertia”). I know, it’s a paper not a study. So I won’t hit you with the “you so wrong!” again.

The author, Ien Ang has his own book out called Desperately Seeking the Audience that I have not as of yet purchased (but it looks good).

Otherwise, I am enjoying YOUR book greatly. It’s right on the $$$.

Yours in Punk Rock,

J L

Our Response:

Blimey, you’re right! It’s closed down. Well spotted. A Starbucks gift certificate is in the mail. Or not.

But thanks for pointing it out and hope you’re still enjoying the book. Please post a review on Amazon when you’ve finished.

Cheers,

Mark
P.S. Pressume? You-So-Wrong!
